this little girl right here.

Do you want to know a little more about me?
Do you?
Do you?

Well. You've come to the right post. It's going to be all about me. Me, me, me, me. :D

..Okay, this is sounding a little wrong, so..why don't I explain?

I am being featured this week over at The Nerve of Verve, and I'm supposed to tell you about myself. Now, if you are a good blog reader, you have already scoured my "about me" page, read through at least a couple of my past posts, and by now surely have a general feel for what sort of person I am and what I enjoy.

Nevertheless, I guess I have never truly done a whole post just about me; I suppose it's time for a little change in the program?

Here goes it, and I hope you enjoy this little blab about Lucia.

I was born on August 15th, 1995, to missionary parents and a small northwestern town; the second eldest in an eventual family of six. I currently have two sisters: Olivia (18) and Anne (10), and one brother: Mark (13). My mom homeschools all of us, and I have learned in the home since kindergarten.

blog designer with a new business,

lover of babies and all children in general,
Pinned Image

believer in waiting for one man and one romance, yet
Pinned Image

...not waiting for that one romance to make me happy. :]

And just as a side note, I am:

one who has read Darwin's Origin of Species just for experiance
who understands evolution as well as creation
Pinned Image

..and still believes in the One True God, Creator of the Universe
who dies for us on the cross
who is seated at the right hand of God this very moment
and who will return for us, if we have not already left this earth, with a trumpet sound on a day not very far away.
(1 Corinthians 15:52)

Yep. All packed into this little girl right here.

..and that, my friends, is only scratching the surface. :]

  1. Aw! Love this post! Thanks for writing :)...

  2. Ahh, you have the same birthday as my sister, but you're the second-oldest, like me. (:

Oh, I am SUCH an avid reader too...a photographer...a pianist (of 11 years!)...penpaller...a singer (not necessarily good but doing it all the time)...blogger...and writer and designer for fun. Looks like we have some in common--loved reading this!

And good for you, reading The Origin of Species. But yes, God is still our creator and Jesus our Savior.

    ♥, Jenn

  3. Pretty cute post!!

You didn't tell me you're attempting your first novel!? haha Neat!

  4. Aaah, you're so cute.
I love your outfit with the green cardigan.
    We have lots in common.
Good luck with your first novel =)
Would you recommend reading Origin of the Species? I was going to read it, but maybe it's helpful to fully understand evolution to be able to argue for creation?

  5. Hey there!

    I followed you :)
Check out my blog, It’s a Love Story and follow me! Please :)

I love to read as well, I love photography, I love playing piano, I love singing, I love blogging, I wrote my first novel last year (through NaNoWriMo), I was home schooled, and I used to be a very "avid" letter-writer. :)

Such a lovely post on you, and I particularly love that last photo of you. It's precious ♥

  13. Hope your novel goes well!!! :) I am about to start writing one for NaNoWriMo this year... the only other one I've finished was from NaNoWriMo last year... so we'll see how it goes :)

  14. ah you have no idea how much i loved finding out more about you, my friend. even though we only share so much on our blogs, it's hard to believe that there is still so much to find out if we ever meet one day. OR that God made us as unique as we are :)

  15. Such a lovely post Lucia! You have inspired me in many ways! Did you take the photo of the letters? (Did you decorate them?) They're gorgeous! I love writing letters too. :)
