britain is in my future.

England.

I love everything about it. And I want to go there.

..Just think of it: surrounded by lovely quaint accents, rolling sheep-dotted pastures, stone fences, and best of all..

..Tea rooms!

^ This is the type of sign I want to see while meandering among the stone fences and sheep-dotted pastures. And this:

..is what I want the sign to lead me to. ♥

..Just another fancy of mine. Just another dream--which for once may come true, Lord willing and providing I have enough saved when the time comes.

You see, my mom attended a Bible school in England called Capenwray. Besides being in England, and being a Bible school, this is what it looks like:

..Ahhh. A castle! ♥

How delightfully and wickedly charming can you get?! :]

My sister Olivia and I, along with a friend of our's (whose mom also, as we found out later, attended the school!), are hoping and praying that Capenwray is in our future.

Any particular country you are dying to adventure in?

  3. That first picture reminds me of Mary Poppins. Which makes me really happy.

  4. ah, I'd like to go back to my beloved old Sudan. ;) trust me -- i have many a missionary friend from England, and it's not quite everything as it is in the pictures + movies. my dad has visited it before and it's mostly just rainy and dreary in the city, yet the country is pretty - it rains and it cold much more than here in the US. but I'm sure it would be nice to visit. =)

  6. Besides Britain, Ireland (Where my ancestors came from), Scotland, France, Italy, and Holland, nope, nowhere I wish to explore. :-)

That Bible School looks magical...I'd almost forget I'd need to study while there! {giggle}.

  7. England is a beautiful place...I love it as a country and a place to visit, but after living there for the first seven years of my life, I can honestly tell you that it is not a very nice place for a Christian to live. Freedom is so little and you are so restricted in what you can do. But it is a wonderful, cute little place...parts of it anyway, and I can imagine you going on a trip there :)

  8. I've always wanted to go to England. I've lived so close to it my whole life, it's so frustrating I haven't been there yet!

I also really want to go to France. It sounds lovely.

  10. I live in England and love it! Well, I love the countryside and I don't think I would like living in a city at all.

I would really like to visit the Amish in America and maybe meet my pen pals there. Learning to quilt would be fab!

  14. I always thought it would be fun to do a tour Scotland...but my dream is to live with a missionary family in Peru for a couple years, after I finish highschool. England would be wonderful! (Basically, I love traveling, and would love to be a photo-journalist someday!) :)

  15. What a lovely post! Gorgeous pictures too :)... hopefully, your dream will come true one day :).

I'm not usually the kind of girl that likes to travel a whole lot, however, Palace at Versailles is one of the places I'd really, really like to visit.

*shrugs* I guess we'll both just have to wait and see if we ever get to go to our dream places :D.

  19. Hi there...I just emailed you the other day, but I saw this post today and had to say something. If I had emailed just a day or two later I totally would have mentioned it :)
Besides serving the Lord with all my heart and wanting to follow His will, going to England is my biggest dream ever! I've wanted to go since...I don't remember when. :) A long time for sure!!
Your pictures are beautiful, you have stirred up that desire even more!! God would provide for you as He sees fit though...this I know!! God bless.
    Blessings in Him, ~Hannah

  22. Wow, those pictures are beautiful. But I live in England and find it dreary, wet and cold. The accent in Kent is far from endearing too =S
I would love to travel all the states of America, Greece, Italy, Egypt, Japan, and China.
I do hope that maybe one day you'll get to England. I pray you come at a warm(ish) time so that you can get the best from your visit ;-)

  24. England is not a very spiritual place at all. It is so much worse then America, sadly enough. I love living there though.
