  1. Oh my goodness, you've almost exactly summarized my life of piano.
I've been playing for 7 years, I learned Fur Elise pretty easily, and I've used my piano for all of those things except for a homeschool choir player, and I almost had that opportunity, but the choir had to break up because there weren't enough people in it.
That is too funny how close your pianoness (I know, that's not a word ;D) is to mine.
    Have a blessed day!

  4. Fun post, thanks for sharing Lucia! ;) I would love to learn piano, I've picked it up a few times while at friends' houses, but then I'll forget it! :( Right now I play (am learning) fiddle. The piece that I'm practicing is Arkansas Traveler! It's really fun, but hard! ;)
    Post more soon!
    Blessings,

  5. I play the piano, flute, and harp. I am a lot better at my flute then the rest of the instruments though! I still am working on the piano because I want to be able to some day play for church. It's so nice that you play your piano at nursing homes. Those people LOVE to hear any kind of instrument! I love blessing people with my music!! That alone is worth all the hours of practise I put into them! :)

    Blessings,

    -Camille.

  6. Great post!

I play the Mandolin, of which I have been playing for 4 years now. I can sometimes play around on the piano, but don't do it quite often. =)

    Blessings,
    Grace

  9. I play piano too. :) I've played for about...7 years? Yeah. It's a long time, isn't it?
Currently though, I'm not talking any lessons, so I haven't really been keeping up with my playing. :(

I also play harp though. I am currently taking lessons on that, so that's where my concentration is going. I've played that for about 3 1/2 years. But I'm glad the beginnings have come easily to me, since I started with a strong music background. (And piano and harp music look almost exactly the same. lol)

  10. Hi Lucia! I loved hearing you and Olivia play when I visited CBC for various functions - and you both play beautifully! I am blessed, too, that you are using your talent for the blessing of others and the glory of God. I play the violin, but haven't played in more than a year, since I left it behind in Oregon. I have contemplated bringing it back to Uganda, but fear what the heat might do to it. So, we shall see. :)
