~Of Tea and Treats and Valentine's Day...

Yesterday, at precisely two o'clock, a host of little girls arrived at our home for a

~Valentine's Day Tea~

Hearts were strung o'er the room..

Doily placemats added to the effect!

..The table was arrayed in finery, and the delicacies were laid out accordingly.
Mini brownie treats

M & M candies in a pretty heart basket

I did Anne's hair especially for the occasion. <3

..It turned out quite nicely with a few "accessories" I had on hand! Not to mention the fact that she is indeed wearing my clothing..crazy how time flies! *wilt*

Tea and cake!

..There were stories read, treats partaken of, games played, and valentines shared. This was an occasion for the "American Girl Club," so naturally there was some 'doll-talk,' too. ;)

The whole party!

..Overall, it was a satisfying event. :)

What do you do for Valentine's Day?

~Today is my sweet friend Dani's 18th birthday. She is a dear friend of mine, whom I have known for two years via pen-palling. We hope to someday meet the lovely H. Family, perhaps in the near fututre! Visit her blog and leave her a birthday note, if you will... I'm sure they would appreciate a few "surprise" followers, too...;)
