adventuring || seattle

Several weekends ago my mom, two sisters (Olivia + Anne), and I ventured up to beautiful Seattle, Washington to visit with some family. I'm no city girl, but Seattle is one of those pretty places that makes skylines amiable.

There are so many gorgeous lights, streets, views, grand examples of architecture, markets (ever heard of Pike's Place? Photographer + tourists' heaven--sadly we didn't get to visit this time.), etc. to see, and so many things to do. It was all I could do to keep from snapping pictures of every random sign + vehicle in the vicinity; it would pretty much be my dream to do a city shoot in this town.

However, we simply adventured around the neighborhood and meandered down a few city sidewalks.

Yep, if you like homeless dudes holding signs that say, "Visions of a cheesburger, please help,"

Toms on every foot,

a latte in every hand,

street names like "Queen Anne,"

a ferris wheel in the distance and a skyline of grandeur,

you've gotta go visit Seattle.
